Recurring monthly revenue

Every hire pays you a fixed share of the customer's monthly payment for the life of the agreement.1

You keep ownership

The product stays yours throughout the hire. When it comes back, you check it, grade it, and hire it out again.

Protected if things go wrong

If a customer stops paying, or the product is lost, stolen or badly damaged, we buy it from you at the depreciated value agreed in your asset schedule — protecting your downside.2

We carry the regulated load

Bluebird is the regulated counterparty on every agreement. We run the affordability checks, hold the contracts and handle customer communications.

Set up in minutes, not months

Introduce Bluebird in store or add it to your online checkout. You tell us the product's value — we do everything else.

Win customers you'd otherwise lose

Customers declined for finance elsewhere can be referred into Bluebird's independent hire assessment — recovering sales that would have walked away.

You own the product. We hire it to your customer.

You lease the product to Bluebird, we hire it to the customer and collect the monthly payment — and you receive a fixed share of every payment, every month.

Customer picks a product

In your store or online. You introduce Bluebird and tell us what the product is worth — that's all you set.

We price & sign them up

Bluebird sets the monthly price, runs all the checks, and the customer signs the hire agreement with us.

You hand over the product

You make sure it's safe and ready, then deliver it or hand it over in store. You still own it throughout.

You get paid every month

We collect the customer's payment and pay your share automatically — plus a bonus when they add optional cover.

The product comes back

At the end of the hire you check it over, grade it, and it's ready to earn again with the next customer.

What you do. What Bluebird does.

The split is simple: you look after the product and the in-store relationship — we look after everything regulated.

What you do

  • Introduce Bluebird & help customers sign up
  • Tell us the product's value
  • Deliver, collect & service the product
  • Check & grade it on return

Simple, predictable earnings on every hire

Your share is a fixed percentage of every monthly payment we collect — decoupled from pricing decisions, paid automatically, with a statement to match. And if a hire ends badly, we buy the asset from you at its agreed depreciated value, protecting your downside.2

Partner questions, answered

Do I need FCA permissions to offer Bluebird?

Bluebird is the regulated counterparty on every hire agreement, and partners operate under an established Appointed Representative arrangement. Your role is to introduce customers and assist with sign-up — we'll walk you through the setup when you join.

Who sets the customer's monthly price?

Bluebird does, always. You declare the product's value — that's the only input you set. This keeps you clear of pricing and affordability decisions, and keeps the scheme compliant.

What happens if a customer stops paying?

We manage arrears and forbearance under our regulated process — you never chase a customer. If the hire ends early, we buy the product from you at the depreciated value agreed in your asset schedule. If we recover the product, you can choose to buy it back at a discount, but you're never obliged to.

Who owns the product during the hire?

You do. You lease the product to Bluebird under a simple master agreement, and we hire it to the customer. Title stays with you throughout the hire, and the product comes back to you at the end.

What about insurance?

Bluebird arranges core cover — public liability, accidental damage, loss, theft and replacement — for every hire as standard, through our specialist insurance partner. Customers can add optional extras at sign-up; when they do, you receive a bonus for that hire. You never sell or advise on insurance yourself.

What do I have to do operationally?

Keep products safe, inspected and hire-ready; handle delivery, collection or in-store handover; and check and grade products on return. Servicing can be added under a separate agreement. Everything is done to clear, agreed standards.

Which products can go on the scheme?

At launch: mobility scooters, powerchairs, electric and manual wheelchairs, riser recliners, hoists, stand aids, and rollators and walking frames. The model is built to extend to new categories and markets over time.
